On top of all the deaths and departures in The Vampire Diaries Season 4, something else that’s been difficult to watch is the growing distance between Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Caroline (Candice Accola).
The best friends started growing apart when Caroline realized the new vampire is sire bonded to Damon (Ian Somerhalder). While Elena was sure her feelings for him were genuine, the blond bloodsucker tried to convince her it was all in her head.
According to what executive producer Julie Plec tells Entertainment Weekly, the relationship between the two vampiresses is about to be under more strain. In Season 4, Episode 16, “Bring It On,” a newly unemotional Elena — who rejoins the pep squad — is eager to feed on some vervain-free out-of-towners during a cheerleading competition. Blood-bag fan Caroline is horrified.
“Caroline is the fixer she’s the planner,” says Julie. “She’s the best, most successful vampire in town, and she’s going to be right there in the mix wanting to help Elena. Unfortunately, Elena does not want her help, and it triggers some conflict between these two girls that’s both fun and sad at the same time.”
THE NEW NORMAL — Elena’s (Nina Dobrev) new outlook has everyone concerned, leading Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) to agree that going back to the normal routine of high school would be the best thing for her. Caroline (Candice Accola) is pleasantly surprised when Elena decides to rejoin the cheerleading squad, but her pleasure turns to shock when Elena’s behavior proves dangerous. Not giving up on their search for the cure, Damon and Rebekah (Claire Holt) work together until his unwanted advice catches her off-guard. Klaus (Joseph Morgan) tries to use Hayley (guest star Phoebe Tonkin) to get the information he’s after and makes an intriguing discovery in the process. Meanwhile, a bored Elena throws a wild party and gets into an ugly fight.
avsnittet kommer alltså att heta the new normal,nu är det bara att vänta i 3 veckor tills nytt avsnitt kommer.
dethär avsnittet var en av dom sorgligaste i TVD,och det hände väldigt mycket. alla bröt ju ihop för att jeremy dog,och så var det sorgligt att elena brände ner huset med jeremy i. och så tog hon ju bort sin mänsklighet,dethär avsnittet var en av mina favoriter hitills i säsong 4,det var oxå en av dom sorgligaste avsnittet hittills i vampire diaries,och det är fortfarande svårt för mig att förstå att han är död,för han var en av mina favorit karaktärer i TVD.

dåliga nyheter för oss vampire diaries älskare,efter avsnitt 4x15 kommer TVD ta en tre veckors lång paus inna 4x16 sänds. 4x16 kommer alltså att sädas 15 mars i sverige.
vad tycker ni om avsnittet,jag gillade det avsnittet var väldigt spännande, det sorgligaste var att jeremy dog och att tyler behövde lämna caroline. hoppas jeremy överlever för han är en av mina favorit karaktärer.
Is all hope for a Klaus-and-Caroline friendship officially gone?
In one of the most heartbreaking Vampire Diaries scenes, Caroline (Candice Accola) and Tyler (Michael Trevino) were forced to say goodbye — yet again — so that Tyler could leave town before Klaus (Joseph Morgan) could kill him. While it seems this act would be one of many final straws, Morgan says the dynamic between the two is much more complicated than that.

“There’s always got to be a hint of hope [for them], hasn’t there?” Morgan tells TVGuide.com in the video below. “I would like to think that she is understanding enough [because] this is the thing: No one is truly good or evil. There’s always some redeeming quality somewhere, maybe buried very, very deep within someone. I was filming a scene with her the other day, so the characters are still interacting. Their relationship, and I’ll use that term loosely, becomes much more complex the more we go on, which is so interesting to play.”
While the trio’s drama was playing out in Mystic Falls, a very big enemy of Klaus’ was returning out on the island. Just as Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) was trying to get the cure free from Silas’ fossilized hands, Katherine swooped in, grabbed the cure, and was gone before Jeremy could breathe his final breath. What does this all mean for the hybrid who despises the doppelganger? “Well, there are going to be interesting developments with that,” Morgan says. “We’ve got to bear in mind this is someone who Klaus hunted down for 500 years. So she’s going to want to do everything she can to avoid him, whether that’s trying to kill him or make peace with him or trying to broker a deal with him, that remains to be seen, but absolutely not something that’s brushed over.”
Charlie Bewley: Ian is the glue that binds us all. He runs the show. It’s quite the spectacle. I love the guy — he has lots of great energy and is a real people person. If there’s one thing we can say about Damon, it’s that he’ll do anything for elena (nina dobrev). The elder Salvatore doesn’t want the cure — but Ian Somerhalder says she certainly does. Something tells us becoming human again won’t be as simple as popping an aspirin, and if it requires a sacrifice, Damon just might be willing to volunteer.
This wouldn’t be nearly as foreboding if Nina Dobrev hadn’t just told E! online that something “tragic” is coming that will affect Damon, Elena, and stefan (paul wesley).
varning för spoiler! his week, we said goodbye to Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) — and despite a definite theme of resurrection this season, we’re hearing that that’s the very last we’ll see of him in the present day. More bad news? Kol isn’t the only character we’re going to say goodbye to before the next hiatus. Okay, okay, so we have some good news for fans, too: Stefan’s BFF Lexi will appear in another flashback episode this season. And more Lexi is always a good thing.
TVLINE | You say he doesn’t want Elena to be cured, so why is he going out of his way to find this cure for her? Is it purely about him knowing whether she truly loves him? No, it’s not that self-serving. That would be [like] Damon. But I think ultimately, it’s that it’s what she wants. It’s really what she wants.
TVLINE | Elena made a pretty big confession of love recently, and Damon told her to come to him. But then they got distracted by the hunter/cure business. Will they address that conversation soon? That’s the idea. One would hope. She did come to him, and it was a really cool moment for him. There’s got to be conflict there [between them]. There has to be. Now, this cure is really not something Damon wants, and so he’s forced to do all this stuff for her. It adds tension because she’s saying, “Look, I love you, man. You have to believe me. I really do.” And he’s just saying, “No, no, no. It’s not possible.” It’s tough for her, and it’s tough for him. It’s Vampire Diaries, it sucks for everyone. It’s hard.
TVLINE | So what’s the next step for Damon and Elena in their relationship? To move to an island in the Caribbean that Damon buys and start a colony. In all seriousness, it’s kind of like instead of a whodunnit storyline, it’s a who’s-gonna-get-it? Honestly, I think that Damon right now is wishing he wasn’t in this situation, and [he] has an exorbitant amount of trepidation about getting this [cure] because he has a pretty clear idea that once she gets it, she’s going to go back to feeling this way for Stefan. This circumstance is really not great.
